Privacy policy

What the site collects

• What you type into a form. Your name and email, and anything else you choose to send: phone number, business name, website, how you'd like me to reach you, and your message.
• What you enter when you book a call. Cal.com collects your name, email and any answers you give, and adds the booking to my calendar.
• Basic visit statistics. Pages viewed, the site that sent you, country and device type, through Vercel Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you.
• No advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses none.
• Calls, texts and WhatsApp messages. If you contact me at (407) 984-7101, your number and messages stay on my phone and in WhatsApp, if you use it.
• Technical logs. Like any web host, Vercel briefly keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site. They're kept for up to 30 days.

Please don't send passwords, payment details or health information through the forms.

Why I use it

To reply to you, to do the Free Website Check you asked for, to prepare a quote, and to see which pages are useful.

I don't sell or rent your information, I don't use it for advertising, and I won't add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who else handles it

I use a few trusted services to run the site. Each one handles only what it needs:

• Vercel hosts the site and provides the cookieless visit statistics.
• Resend delivers what you send through the forms to my business inbox.
• Namecheap Private Email is my email provider and stores those messages.
• Cal.com handles call bookings and adds them to my Google Calendar.
• WhatsApp, only if you choose to message me there.

Each service has its own privacy policy, linked from its name.

Cookies

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. If you open the Cal.com booking page, Cal.com may use its own cookies.

How long it's kept

Form messages stay in my email for as long as they're useful for your request or project, and at most three years if no project follows. I keep records for client work as long as tax and legal rules require. You can ask me to delete your messages sooner at any time.

Your choices

Email hello@hbworks.app to see, correct or delete what you've sent. I'll respond within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

Keeping it safe

The whole site uses a secure connection (HTTPS), forms filter out spam, and only I read what you send. No system is perfect, which is why I ask you not to send sensitive details through the forms.

Children

This site is for business owners and isn't meant for children under 13. I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
